Baby massage workshop

Massage of a newborn's legs
Touch, the first language

Learning to massage your baby

Even before words, your baby communicates through touch. Massage is a lovely way to talk to them, soothe them and share a moment of pure closeness.

During the workshop, I guide you step by step to massage every part of their body, with simple, gentle, reassuring movements you can repeat at home every day. The workshop can be experienced one-to-one or in a small group, as a single session or a cycle of 4 sessions.

Slowing down together

A pause in your days

With a newborn, days fly by between feeds, diaper changes, broken nights and a thousand things to organize. Sometimes it feels like you are racing against time.

Massage offers a moment when everything stops. You take the time to look at your baby and learn to read their reactions, and they feel your presence through your hands. These little rendezvous quickly become precious memories, for them as much as for you.

Your hands, my guidance

During the workshop, you are the one massaging your baby. I show you the movements, guide you and reassure you, so that you leave with simple tools to repeat every day, and more confidence in yourself.

Time to talk

Around the massage, we also talk about motherhood, your nights, your questions and what each of you is going through. In a group, it's a chance to meet other parents and share your experiences.

On its own or as part of a support package

The workshop can stand on its own, or be part of a postnatal support package to extend your support through the first months.

During the workshop

What you will learn

The movements, step by step

Legs, feet, tummy, arms, back, face: together we discover the movements suited to each part of your baby's body.

Listening to your baby

Recognizing when they are available, when they need a break, and adapting the massage to their mood of the day.

A ritual at home

Leave with clear guideposts to turn massage into a little ritual, after the bath or before bedtime, at your own pace.

You leave with…

  • A small bottle of massage oil, so you can continue that very evening at home
  • A booklet covering all the movements we practiced together, so you can keep them in mind

Your questions

FAQ — Baby massage workshop

From what age can you massage your baby?

Massage can be practiced from the first weeks, until your child starts moving around a lot. The workshop adapts to your baby's age.

What is the difference between the one-to-one and group workshop?

One-to-one, the workshop is entirely devoted to you and your baby, at a pace that suits you. In a group, you share it with 2 to 4 participants at most, at a gentler price: a lovely opportunity to talk and build connections.

Single session or cycle of 4 sessions?

The single session lets you discover the essential movements. The cycle of 4 sessions is more complete: you learn more movements at your own pace, can ask your questions over the weeks and settle massage in as a true ritual.

Where does the workshop take place?

One-to-one, I come to your home, anywhere in Ho Chi Minh City. Group workshops take place in a calm, welcoming venue, which is shared with you when you register.

What should I prepare?

For a workshop at home: simply a towel and a spare diaper. For a group workshop, I take care of everything. In both cases, the massage oil is provided.

What if my baby cries or falls asleep during the workshop?

No problem at all! We always follow your baby's rhythm. If they aren't available, we take a break, and you can keep learning the movements on a doll.

Can the co-parent take part?

Of course! One-to-one, as much as you like: it's a beautiful moment of closeness to share with baby. For group workshops, we talk it over together, depending on how many participants have already signed up.
