Between the ages of 10 and 14, the body and emotions change. First periods are approaching or have arrived, and with them many questions… that we don't always dare to ask, even of our own mother.

The mothers & teens circle offers a gentle, caring space to approach this passage together. Girls and mothers listen, share and hear the stories of other women, to live this stage with more confidence and serenity, and to open up dialogue at home.

How it unfolds

A session of about 2 hours

A welcome in a circle

We begin over a light snack. Each person introduces herself at her own pace, and together we set a gentle, caring and confidential framework: what is said in the circle stays in the circle.

Information and discussion

Clear, age-appropriate information for girls about puberty, periods and protection, enriched by the stories of the women present. A question-and-answer time lets them bring up anything on their minds.

A creative workshop

To close gently, a fun, creative little workshop to share as a pair, mother and daughter.

My daughter hasn't had her first period yet, can we join?

Yes, and it's actually the ideal time! The circle helps you prepare calmly, before the first period arrives.

My daughter is shy, will she have to speak in front of the group?

No one is required to speak. Everyone takes part at her own pace: listening is already taking part.

Where does the circle take place?

In a calm, welcoming place in Ho Chi Minh City, which is shared with you when you register.

Can another woman from the family accompany my daughter?

Yes, a grandmother, an aunt or a godmother is very welcome to come in place of the mom.

What language is the circle held in?

In French.
